Coconut Cake Recipe:

  • Can I make the cake ahead of time and refrigerate it? Yes. You can make it two days in advance, but I do not recommend refrigerating it because it might dry out. Personally, I think this cake is best baked the day of or one day before serving. Store in a cake box or use a baking sheet with a lid.

  • Should I sift the flour? Yes, absolutely! Once should be fine.
